Prices

From the start, let's be clear, we are probably not the cheapest around. We don't try to lead clients along with 'prices from £..'.

We do, however, provide a quality, reliable and complete service, and we try our best to ensure that you are fully informed, and that there are no unpleasant surprises.

Because no two projects are exactly the same, we can only provide guide prices. However, we have a pricing structure that should enable you to estimate our fees:

Standard House Survey: £50 per room

So, for instance, a 3-bed semi might have 7 rooms (3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room, cloakroom), so the survey would cost £350.

Additional survey guide prices (if required):

Electrical services check - £75
Mechanical services check (plumbing & heating) - £75
Structural survey - £100 - £ 250

Note: a structural survey will normally be required for a loft conversion

Planning application - 1.75% of estimated value of work, or £150 (whichever is greater)

Building regulations application - 1.75% of estimated value of work, or £150 (whichever is greater)

Project Management (Supervising the work) 6.5% of estimated value of work
