Prices From the start, let's be clear, we are probably not the cheapest around. We don't try to lead clients along with 'prices from £..'. We do, however, provide a quality, reliable and complete service, and we try our best to ensure that you are fully informed, and that there are no unpleasant surprises. Because no two projects are exactly the same, we can only provide guide prices. However, we have a pricing structure that should enable you to estimate our fees: Standard House Survey: £50 per room Planning application - 1.75% of estimated value of work, or £150 (whichever is greater) Building regulations application - 1.75% of estimated value of work, or £150 (whichever is greater) Project Management (Supervising the work) 6.5% of estimated value of work 1. Don't forget, your local authority also charges fees for planning and building regulations approval. 2. To estimate how much the work might cost, work out the gross floor area (the external dimensions of your proposal) in square metres, and multiply this by £1000 to reach an approximate cost. If the proposal is more than single storey, multiply again by the number of floors. |
